How long does a website take?
Remote Launch is normally completed within three to five working days after all required content is received. On-Site Story is normally completed within five working days after the visit and receipt of any remaining information.
What does it cost?
Remote Launch costs €325 excl. VAT. On-Site Story costs €595 excl. VAT. Both are one-time website-build prices and include the first year of hosting. More advanced features are quoted separately.
Is VAT included?
No. Prices shown exclude VAT. VAT is added to the invoice.
Who will I deal with?
Your project is personally led by Chris, with clear responsibility and communication.
Is the domain included?
Connecting the website to your domain is included. Domain registration and renewal fees are paid separately, and the domain should be registered in your name.
Do I own the website?
The website is built for your business. The domain should be registered in your name. PimpMySite may manage the technical setup, but ownership should remain clear. Third-party components, fonts or stock material stay under their own licences.
What if I do not have suitable photos?
On-Site Story is designed for businesses that need help capturing their work. Chris visits the business and takes practical photographs and short video clips. Remote Launch requires you to supply suitable images.
What happens after the first year?
First-year hosting is included. After that, hosting and basic technical maintenance are currently €150 per year. Renewal is optional, the price is confirmed before renewal and there is no automatic charge.
Can you guarantee enquiries?
No website can responsibly guarantee enquiries on its own. A strong website helps customers find, understand and contact your business, but results also depend on demand, competition, visibility and how the website is promoted.
Can you build an online shop or booking system?
Yes, but those features are not included in the standard Remote Launch or On-Site Story packages. They are reviewed and quoted separately.
How does the Local Business Spotlight work?
Each month, applications are reviewed and one qualifying local business may be selected based on its current visibility, website need, readiness and suitability for a public case study. It is not a random draw and no purchase is required.
Can I apply again if I am not selected?
Yes. Applications do not automatically carry forward, but a business may apply again during a future selection period.
